1. Which soft- and hardware requires my computer?

Important information: When using Macs we exclusively recommend Mozilla Firefox browsers to watch the presentations. When using Safari browsers disturbances of the flash streams may occur.

2. Which screen resolution do I require to be able to see the presentations?
Our portal was designed for a standard resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The presentations require an area of 800 x 600 pixel in the popup window. With these standards our portal can be viewed from almost any monitor.
Should however parts of the presentation not be seen, please check the following monitor settings:
You are working with a PC?
Minimize all the windows; then click on the desktop with the right mouse button. A popup menue appears; please choose the function Properties at the bottom. Now choose right on top the file card Settings. In this mask you can adjust the monitor resolutions. We recommend a standard setting of 1024 x 768 pixel. For wide-screen monitors (16:9) we recommend a standard setting of at least 1280 x 768 pixels.
You are working with a Mac?
Click on the apple symbol on the top left edge of the screen. Choose the option System Preferences. Now click under hardware the option Monitors, choose the corresponding resolution in the scroll menue. We recommend a standard setting of at least 1024 x 768 pixel.For wide screen monitors (16:9) we recommend a standard resolution of at least 1280 x 768 pixels.

3. Which internet access do I require? A standard DSL connection (768 kbit/s) is required for the interactive presentations on dental-online-community. This connection enables you to watch high quality video streams and listen to audio in top quality without delay. This is guaranteed by a broad network of high tech streaming servers that assure a smooth procedure of the presentations.
